Stop the name-calling! … Execution plan terminology

It’s time. High time. Time to set the record straight on types of execution plans. There are some severe misconceptions, and they have many causes. One cause is many good folks, including myself, have in the past spread incorrect information. We were young, we didn’t know any better. But now we do, and we want to set the record straight.
