It may be surprising to see a word of welcome posted in December 2017, on a blog that has posts going back as far as 2006. And yet, this is my very first new blog post on this site.
All the content before this post was originally published at SQLblog.com. SQLblog.com is a fantastic website that hosts many bloggers. It has hosted me for almost twelve years as well. But it was time to move house, to create a new website for the content I have planned for the future.
For now, this website is just my blog. But that will change in the near future. I have exiting plans that I am already working on for some time. It’s too early to reveal my plans at this time (but for a small first hint, look at the domain name), but I am excited, and I hope you will be excited too when it goes live.
Three people were a great help in setting up this site and moving my existing content. Thanks, Adam Machanic, Brent Ozar, and Richie Rump. Without your efforts, this site would not have looked nearly as good as it does, and the move would not have been nearly as smooth.
If you notice anything that does not work as it should, please let me know! I will try to fix it as soon as possible. And obviously: watch this space for announcements of new content!
